Alan Simmons

           Born in the Philippines and raised in England. Spent time in Japan growing up. I spent the last two years at school making animated cartoons. I am a U.S. Citizen, and have lived here for over twenty years. I write and play music as a hobby. I have worked professionally in the animation field for twenty years. I have also done furniture design and Architectural rendering. I have painted sets and I took a course in set illustration for live action film. I work both traditionally and digitally in a 2-D and 3-D format.

           I enjoy doing whacky greeting cards which I usually collaborate on with a friend. I am living in the San Fernando Valley and have a home studio. I taught at the Animation Academy for four years.
